I'm happy to announce that a project I've been hard at work on for these past months has come to fruition: Daymark. It's a trio performing traditional Irish music on fiddle, flute, border pipes, and guitar. It features my longtime musical partner, Eric McDonald, and the Irish fiddler Dan Foster, originally from York, England. We'll be playing around New England a bit this spring, and will be announcing more upcoming dates soon. You can check out a few videos from our first concert for now, and we'll be coming out with studio tracks later on in the spring. It's something I'm very excited about, and there should be quite a bit more developing with it as the year progresses.

The latter half of 2016 was a publicly quiet one for me. Aside from working on Daymark, I was also quite busy in the pipemaking workshop, where I'm now partners with Nate Banton. You can see what we're up to over at our website. I've also been playing locally around Portland and Boston quite a bit, with forays down to New York City and Philadelphia as well; most of these have been session gigs on the flute.

I've got two other projects that I'm also working on in the background that I expect to announce later on this year, so keep watching this space. In the meantime, I hope to see you out at one of the Daymark concerts!
